Event 29/05: AI and recruitment

News Type : Nieuws

Following the publication of the study 'Recruitment and selection in the age of AI: AI use, awareness of bias risks and recommendations regarding the risks of gender discrimination', the Institute for the equality of women and men would like to invite you to a conference on this topic taking place on Friday the 29th of May.

At the conference, we will explore how AI can be developed and used in a responsible manner in recruitment processes, by being vigilant of gender bias and taking measures to mitigate its impact.

Both developer companies as well as companies using AI in recruitment will offer practical inspiration by presenting their internal measures and good practices. These will be complemented by presentations of several projects on fair recruitment, providing insights and recommendations regarding both development and use of AI. The closing remarks will be delivered by Rob Beenders, Federal Minister for Equal Opportunities.

Lisa Lombardi, Business Relationship Officer and Women in Tech & DEI Ambassador at Agoria, will be the host of the day.

Do you use AI in your recruitment processes, or are you planning to do so? Would you like to know how to reduce gender bias and make sure you don’t miss out on strong candidates? Or are you simply looking for inspiration on the topic? Then this day is for you!
